Usually not for residential use bulbs. What led bulb are you thinking of?

I'm thinking more of an indoor light now. Our electrician wants to sell us Sylvania PAR20, 3000K bulbs with a 3 year warranty, at about $35 each. (I can't find them on the Sylvania website, so I think they're discontinued.)

I'm leaning toward a Philips bulb with similar specs, 6 year warranty, more lumens, and very positive reviews on Amazon, at about $30/each. They also sell a Philips 2700K LED bulb with a plain, frosted glass front for about $20.

Anyway, based on reviews I'm thinking Philips is more highly regarded than Sylvania.
