We're building, and it's time to choose lighting--so says my builder. I'd like to try and save some money over his local sources, if I can. So, please share some of your favorite lighting sites. Thanks!

I purchased lighting from www.ylighting.com. The first light arrived perfectly and fast. The second one was a custom order and there was an issue with manufacturer information. After repeated calls when I did not hear back, I disputed the charge and wrote negative reviews. The manufacturer agreed to refund the money. I would suggest buying from them but only after confirming that the items are in stock. I am in the process of placing another order but only after confirming that the items are in stock.

Got sidetracked by other "choices".... Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I've browsed through them, so now I need to find some reviews on the brands (because I don't know anything about any of them). Going to the builder's lighting supplier tomorrow, so at least I'll have some comparisons to go on.
Thanks. Pls suggest some online sites.....

Wow....just found the builder's supplier's website and compared one of their prices to lightingdirect.com's price-- $357 vs $170 on same light (Savoy House brand). Surely the builder gets discount pricing (?) but probably wouldn't be that much??? Christy--have you ordered from them before? Thanks.

lighting direct, bella cor, lamps plus, are some of the websites that I have ordered from. lighting direct also has several other websites in their family such as handlesets direct, etc. I have an interior decorator license, so I signed up as a professional with these sites and got further discounts. Soem websites are already so discounted that they don't have a professional discount.

I bought my Juno Trac 12 from Lightology.com but will not use them again. They have a physical storefront in Chicago and the local store ratings are aweful. I initially thoguht they were good to me but they took a long time to ship and they did not respond to me when I tried to return some parts. I bought a few parts from Beverly Hills Electric and they were fast.
