| Hi Everyone,
We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I need your help with the lighting. Below are a few images of the proposed cabinet layout (the pantry next to the oven is actually where the refrigerator will go and we will not have a wine rack on the back wall). It isn't the final plan, but it should give you a good idea of the layout. I am considering using 5" recessed cans and using 1 or 2 flush or semi-flush ceiling fixtures in the kitchen, and some sort of light above the sink too. I have put together some designs. Please let me know if they work and which ones you like the best. Also let me know if you have any suggestions or if you think the flushmount/semiflush would not work in my kitchen. Keep in mind that I will have under cabinet lighting too. Thanks, Ed |

| I would put two pendants flanking the sink. This is to provide cross-illumination and prevent a glare bomb effect there. I wouldn't put a can light over the fridge. If it were me, I would put the 2 flush or semi-flush mounted ceiling lights. But that's personal. You might be fine with just one. |
