kitchen lighting suggestions

I need help, the lights my electrician wanted to use are not longer available. Does anyone have suggestions for undercount lighting for an 8ft long exposed kitchen passthrough. There's a 4 ft open area between the bottom of the cabinets and the countertop. I wanted something that was cool and easy to change out burnt bulbs. Not a LED fan and really didn't want to use puck lighting there. Any ideas? Thanks...(sorry for the awful picture)
