Hello,
I am redoing the fireplace and adding built in cabinetry on either side of the fp in my family room. Currently, there are two cans in the ceiling, 6 inch, and they are not centered and way too close to the new cabinetry. I would like to add one can and center the other two so that each of the two cabinets (floor to ceiling bookshelves with doors on bottom) and the fireplace area (wood mantel, painting above) has a can centered in front of it. I am confused by all the options. I think I'd like 5-inch housings with a slim, white trim (nothing too obvious, would rather they disappear), but am not sure about bulb options and which is my best bet. Would love to hear your thoughts! Price is an issue as I'd rather spend my budget in other places.

Other lighting in the room is a ceiling semi flush mount and a couple table lamps.
