Help! We live in the Southwest and recently bought a home with a large great room. There are 2 fans installed currently, but they are in horrible conidition and need to be replaced. We went to a local spot "fanco" and heard a long sales pitch. Wondering how much of this is garbage:

*Regency makes great fans
*Cascablanca also does
*a larger motor is a must, as well has high tilt if you want it to run efficiently

She was telling us we should invest in a 200+ motor compared to the smaller ones and that we'd be happy.

Is Regency all that? Is a huge motor necessary?
