First time posting a question! We are in the midst of finishing our kitchen renovation, and now need to decide on lighting over our farmhouse sink. I love the look of a schoolhouse light, but not sure if it should be semi-flush mounted or pendant? We have a double casement window over the sink, "canned" lighting throughout kitchen and breakfast room, and a "recessed canned" light over the island. Island is under a support beam, and a pendant would have obstructed view of pendant lantern over table in breakfast room. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
