Recessed Cans

I have 6" cans in my kitchen ceiling that suck all the heat out of the room so I want to replace them but all of the lights I have seen use spring clips to mount the trims. Im looking for trim rings that will mount flush and tight to the ceiling with no gaps and will stay that way. Any recomendations for cans with better springs or clips that hold the trim tight to the ceiling?

RE: Recessed Cans

You may not have to replace the housings. There are airtight trims available. You need to know what brand and model of 6" housings you have to get more help with that. There are also airtight housings and then the trim doesn't matter. The seal is then between housing and ceiling surface by gasket or caulking.
