AARGH!! 1) The back plate of my lights is mounted on lap siding making it tilt out instead of being perpendicular to the wall--not the best look. Our contractor shimmed it, but it still does not sit straight. 2) Also, I had the holes for the lights set too low. The lights are quite large, and are real head bangers. Contractor can fix this but said it would take a whole ($$$) day! Guess he'd have to remove and replace some of the lap siding. Ideas much appreciated! www.flickr.com/photos/32040703@N02/4504179021

| You can buy plastic mounting plates for vinyl lap siding, might not fit your siding or be the look you're going for but they do exist. |
