| Hi folks,
I'm just about finished with the planning of my kitchen reno but I need some help with the lighting. The kitchen is 19' long by 9' wide and the ceiling is 8'. The area near the patio doors (8'6") has a mini vaulted ceiling (17" higher). There is a fan with light fixture in this area and there is under the counter lighting for the 3 upper cabinets (bottom right of the image). The problem I'm having is with the sink and bartop area. I'm thinking of some sort of track lighting for general lighting and either pots (3) or pendant lights above the sink area/bartop. I'm also unsure about their placement, should they go in the header section or in the kitchen ceiling(opening is 6'10" wide; 42" high; wall is 9" thick). Any suggestion is appreciated. |
