Today we received and attempted to assemble and hang a Murano chandelier, purchased in Italy. The terminal (top) end of our chandelier ends in a loop (rather than being threaded). Any advice as to how to securely attach this to an existing crossbar/mounting bracket which would normally receive a threaded nipple? There were no instructions or mounting hardware included with the chandelier. We attempted to take one of the links from extra chain and thread it through both the crossbar and the loop, but it hung a bit off kilter and was too long of a connection for the glass canopy to sit flush with the ceiling.
