I think i keep asking this question and am still confused. I'm going to use the 4" ecosmart downlights from Home Depot. I need remodel housing and read the 4" Halo isn't great. What works well?

The Cree website has the following list. The main complaint against the halo can is that attaching the screw base is difficult for people with large hands.

Cans are all very similar in construction. The internal dimensions are important in determining the compatibility. Avoid cfl cans.

I used All-Pro 4" Retrofit Housing - ET400RATSB and had no problems at all with the CR4. I am extremely happy with the results. The CR4 is a great product.
