Trying to find old light fixtures

Posted by canishel (My Page) on

These fixtures are about 35 years old. I like them because the covers are hinged. That means that you dont have to unscrew anything to get to the light bulbs.
Cant find them with a Google search.

Anyone have any info about how to get of them?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, very common about 30 years ago. I just pitched the last of mine when the house was updated. Your best bet is to ask contractors doing rehabs and check goodwill for used ones.

I have looked for these too. My grandmother had one in her kitchen and it was well over 50 years ago that I know of. I have seen a few on ebay but they always go for a lot. I think they must be scarce.

Try Habitat fo Humanity Re-store. They always have a variety of old fixtures. If they don't have any, ask your neighbors. They might have them and want to get rid of them.
