"blending" 4" and 6" Recessed Cans

I have replaced 6" rcs with 4" rcs in my kitchen renovation. I have 6" rcs in a family room that is adjacent and open to the kitchen. I would like to alter the existing 6" rcs with new trim kits or perhaps with LED retrofits to soften or blend the two sizes. Suggestions? Many thanks

imo, there is no good way to blend 4" and 6" cans in a contiguous space.

A practical solution would be to differentiate between the 2 areas - paint, detail on ceiling (?)

The best solution would be to have a uniform size for the cans.
