Hello everyone, great forum and been reading a ton but finally thought I would post my own reno question. Redoing part of our kitchen and need help with the lighting plan.

I have attached an sketch of the part of the kitchen in question with 2 proposed lighting plans. I am going with 6" recessed lights for now, but ideally would like to get down to 4" as you will see in the diagram rafters and skylights are making my life difficult.

Over the bar area, I will also be putting in 3 pendant lights, all cabinets have under cabinet fluorescent lighting.
