Hi, we are down to studs and adding all the electrical. This photo/drawing is crude I know but here is what we have. The Red is a bar/peninsula that will divide the great room from the kitchen. This photo is taken from the living room and that cable up there circled in orange will be a ceiling fan. The grey thing will be a vent hood and I tried to draw in the stools and pendent lights.
It's hard to tell if it just looks so busy because everything is exposed...
Here is where we need some help:
The dining room table will be between the peninsula and the living room area. We are going to do led pot lights in the ceiling (the black rafter ties you see are staying exposed) but the rafters themselves will be covered with Sheetrock. Should we add a light fixture for over the table? We want to but are worried with the pendents, fans, rafter ties, vent hood that it will be crazy busy in the room...
btw the fan does not have a light on it. It's very simple black fan with 3 blades.
