| We have a tray ceiling in our living room with recessed lights on the outside of the tray. We are putting in a fan but I do not know if we should do one with or without a light kit. Does anyone have a preference either way?
We have never had recessed lights so I am not sure what will be used more. The house we are in now we tend to use more lamps than overhead lighting. Thanks |

| It is all personal preference, but if your ceiling is over 8' I'd recommend a light kit on the fan. |
