I have a small kitchen nook where we want to update our chandelier to match our remodeled kitchen. Most of the fixture in the kitchen are brushed nickel.

So, I'm choosing between a group of pendants and a more standard chandelier. My kids do their homework at the table, but there are many windows around it, so there is a lot of ambient light. I think downward pointing pendants will be bright enough.

So, if you had to choose between them, which would you go for? I know that's very vague, but I will try to attach a couple pictures to give you a better idea of what I'm thinking.
