LEDs and door operators

Saw a post on another forum that suggests that LEDs may interfere with the proper operation of garage door operator remotes. If so, perhaps the driver circuitry affects the remote signal. If that is the case, then the remotes would be affected only when the LEDS are ON.
Can some of you report your experiences with this?
Given that my door operators typically have lights on for about 8 to 12 minutes per day, use of LEDs seems to offer little advantage. So it has not been tried at my premises.
And most of the lighting in my house is now fluorescent or LED. I do have a stock of incandescent bulbs that will last far longer than my life expectancy. Incandescents are useful to heat small areas to protect against freezing.
