| I bought two Alina pendants by Tech lighting to put over a 55-inch bathroom vanity (30 inches apart). They are beautiful lights and the lighting store recommended them for this use. I wanted to have LED bulbs -- the recessed lights in the room are LED as well. Unfortunately, these pendants are only 6 watts each and they are way too dim. They give nice ambient lighting but are not very effective mirror lighting. Considering how much they cost, there should be an option for a higher wattage bulb -- at least 10 watt. However, 6 watt is the only option, unless I switch the fixture for a halogen light. Something to be aware of, if you are looking at pendants for a vanity. |
