Pendants for Sloped Ceiling?

Posted by mustangs (My Page) on

The 12' bar in my kitchen has a sloped ceiling over it. I have canned lighting above but would like to install pendants. I know I can adjust the rods/cables so the pendants are the same height from the bar to the pendant...but question is:

Is it okay to have pendants on a sloped ceiling or would it look odd? Is is done?

Thanks for your consideration.

It is not uncommon, but flexible hanging pendents are often used allowing the lights to hang straight down.

I have seen rigid rods with adjustable joints, but they are normally part of the light fixture itself.
