kichler led uc lights

The local lighting store recommends Kichler for kitchen UC lighting. Does anyone have experience with these lights and know how they compare to say Alico or other brands.

The specs sheet says about 40 lumens per watt and they seem brighter to my eye than some other brands. The sales staff at the store also suggests that a 30 inch long light (12.4 watts) is suitable for a 48 inch UC mount (they actually said for 45 inches but felt it would cover the full 48).

In contrast, Alico was recommended at another store and they said that a 48 inch fixture was needed rated at 15 watts. Alico does not readily publish a lumen output.
