Pendant Light for Sloped Ceiling

I'm trying to find a pendant light for the sloped ceiling in my foyer. I had two picked out, but the shop said they don't work for a sloped ceiling. Any idea how I can tell if one will be appropriate or not?

RE: Pendant Light for Sloped Ceiling

You need to know the angle of the slope. A lot of lights are adjustable for up to a certain angle (all of our fans and semi-flush lights in our new space are on angled ceilings). I went to a lighting store and asked what angle they could be adjusted to. It's not the easiest information to find so I'm not sure you'd find it at an online lighting store. It does limit your options but they're out there.
