small solar lights for gutter on roof ? Safe ?

I have a quick question ... Ive been using some small solar lights which i just place on my gutter and lights up the roof which is been working to scare the possums away from the roof ... I was wondering if those lights could somehow caught on fire? Theyre quite small ... Or they do not generate enough power?

small solar lights usually use rechargeable AA batts. Your talking 1.25 to 5 volts
