Replacing transparent incandescent

I have clear, blown-glass pendant fixtures over my island that have used Satco S2402 clear A19 bulbs since we built the house.
I am running low on my stockpile, and now need to make the switch to non-incandescent.
CFL is an absolute no-bid. Hate them and I think they are an environmental disaster.
But is there a A19 halogen or LED that is not super harsh? It is the center of interest in the kitchen, and it is transparent.
