Does this type of bulb exist?

I've fallen in love with a sconce for my bathroom that specifies 40W maximum, which seems too dim for a bathroom (or most anything, really). It uses a "type B" bulb. I repeat that without understanding it--my research suggests type B is the base but may also be the shape? Candelabra shape?

At any rate, I'm looking for a CFL (instant-on and preferably dimmable) or LED bulb that would provide at least as many lumens as a 75W incandescent bulb and would fit my desired fixture. The closest thing I've found so far is at Home Depot: "60W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) B10 Candelabra Base Dimmable LED Light Bulb." However, though it claims to be 60W equivalent, it provides only "500 lumens brightness," which all my research shows to be less than 40W equivalent! Why is it so hard to find brighter LED or CFL bulbs except in the "standard" shape? Aren't we all mandated now to switch out our incandescent bulbs? With what?
