Ceiling light fixture - help with hardware?

Hi - I have this ceiling light fixture that is new to me. There is a glass shade that is attached via a threaded pipe and several pieces of hardware.
There are two types of washers/nuts. One is something called a pal nut I think? Ultimately there is a golden/padded button that screws onto the pipe.
What I am not sure about is the order and where to place the nuts/washers. Can anyone give some advice? I will try and attach a couple pics.
