| Hi,
We would like to install the recessed lights in our basement. The ones I bought were on sale for $30 for 4 with trim. My concern they just barely fit in the space and there is almost no gap between the top of the light and floor upstairs. Will this be up to code if I use these or will I have to take them back and get the more expensive smaller height ones? Thanks |

| IC rated recessed fixtures are zero clearance to combustibles, Non IC recessed must have all recessed parts except the brackets 1/2" minimum from combustibles. 4" cans are a poor choice for general lighting. |
