Newbie looking for basic under/in cabinet light advice

Hi,

Posting in kitchens, too...

Have just begun to think about under cabinet lights after finishing up most major decisions. Total lighting newbie at this point....

I need to choose under/in cabinet lighting for the 4 cabinets (inside lights for 2 glass-fronted uppers, and 2 under counters) that flank my range area. So, a total of just 4 lights.

These lights will be for aestetics, as they're not illuminating a prep area.

They will be illuminating some irrideset tile, sonic there's a certain type of light/spectrum that brings out the sheen better than another, I'd love to have that.

I assume I should match the bulbs that come with my range hood to try to get the same look? It's a Best with four 50 watt halogen GU10 bulbs.

Would any halogen bulb give the same "color" light, meaning should I be safe with any halogen, or should instick with GU10 to try to get the same effect? Or maybe it doesn't matter if the user cabinet bulbs are the same spectrum as the hood lights and I don't need to use halogens at all...

Any insights greatly appreciated.
