| I purchased a W4800 Washer new in January 2010. The plastic? ridge below control panel is cracking all along the front of the machine. Is this something that is covered by warranty? |

| Even if it's most likely aesthetic, it is a defect in material quality and Miele should stand by their product. I bought a second hand W4800 with the exact same issue, since I'm not the original owner and the machine is out of warranty for a while, I can't say much. If I were you, I would call customer service to have the machine repaired. |
