What ever happened to next gen. Electrolux washer/dryer

I remember at the end of 2012 that Electrolux was supposed to debut a new washer and dryer at the beginning of 2013 then it was pushed to summer. Summer has come and gone and no more word on the new line of washers (it's like all the talk never happened.)

Has anyone heard what happened?

When I was looking in October it seemed like they all had sale prices, which Electrolux before always seemed to be price locked. So I am assuming they are trying to get rid of old inventory before releasing the new models.

Maybe Electrolux is trying to outdo LG by making an even bigger washer? Looking at Google Patens, Electrolux didn't put anything new out, though.
