Found something that is better than Charlie's Soap.

For everyone here who likes or dislikes Charlie's Soap, I found something that may be better. It's called Atsko Sport Wash. It is unscented, it rinses residue free and is inexpensive (about $4 for 18 loads). It is university tested like Charlie's and is hypoallergenic. It is a liquid and like Charlie's liquid, you only use one ounce per load. It seems to clean better than Charlie's soap. The thing that may make it better than Charlie's is that it is available at all Walmarts! You can find it in the sporting goods dept because it is aimed at hunters who need to have scent free clothes.

I think someone already mentioned this product here in forum. I think they recomended it for hunting clothes. I was looking for it last year in walmart and didn't find it but stopped using CS anyway. I'm sure someone will reply here with some info and experience.

I recall the thread as well -- The OP believed that it was Charlie's Soap...

Here is a link that might be useful: Older Sport-Wash Thread

That would be me. I noticed the wording about the description of the product at the Atsko website is almost identical to CS, right down to it being tested at Clemson University and the risibility showing how Tide causes fabric to weigh more and CS/SW causing the fabric to stay the same weight as well as the anti flammability tests of children's sleepwear.

I had also called CS with some questions and when I asked if SW was made by them and the older man (who normally didn't take calls) said he would have to plead the 5th! He did admit they make other soaps (Sport Wash hair and body wash) for Atsko.

It may not be the exact same formulation but I believe CS repackages their product with several other companies such as Sport Wash, Penguin Sport Wash, Nellie's Washing Soda, Wonder Wash and a couple others. Companies do this all the time. I have never used CS liquid so I can't compare them but SW performs almost the same as CS powder.
