| The 229 is the updated version of the 228. Basically the same unit but with the diamond pattern in the tub. I have the 228's and have been very happy with their performance. I would purchase another Samsung washer and dryer. When I was looking, LG's were also one of the units I was considering. For me, it came down to my main priority was noise. So I went with the Samsungs. But actually was going to get the 328. The price was so good on the 228 that I couldn't justify the additional price for the 328. Decide what is more important to you. Service, washing cycles, size of tub, color available, etc. Personally I don't think you will be disappointed with either the LG or Samsung. If you can wait, Black Friday is coming, and there should be some awesome deals. |
