Feedback on Samsung 4.5 Cu. Ft. Front Load Washer and dryer

| We need to get a new washer and dryer and dh wants the Samsung front loader and dryer. Any feedback on real-life performance would be appreciated! We are also open to suggestions if you have something else that you love and recommend. |

| If you’re considering the Samsung models also check out the Sears Kenmore Elite models which are built for them by Samsung. We got the 263 649 308 4.0 cu ft model (Canadian #) in the Blue Silver color. It is based on the Samsung 218/219 model with extra features (a diamond drum, 1300rpm withVRT, small items “catch basket” and a front drain hose). It also has side handles . . . really nice to help put in place when the fit is tight . . . these are very heavy machines (maybe all FL are????). It has a very good energy rating . . . in the top third of machines I believe and very simple to use. We are very happy with the performance. A much better job than the Whirlpool top loader it replaced. I would recommend using about 60% of the recommended amount of HE powder and simply white vinegar for the rinse.
