FWIW, this model is a consumer reports recommended one. Although, CR does point out that the powerfoam doesn't do much so you may be able to save some $$ going with a lower model?

Thanks livebetter. Certainly mixed reviews, but that seems to be par for the course with front-loaders. At $1850 pretax, I just bought the total package (W/D, pedestals, install, removal) locally for about $300 less than what Sears quoted me. Wish me luck; I'll report back.
