Years ago the forums helped me to pick my Danby DWM5500W Front Loader... what a great machine! Now 10 years later it is making a banging noise during spin. In researching, it seems it may be the spider holding the basket or the bearings in the motor. The problem is that no one sells this machine, and no one seems to have the parts. I have tried all the repair websites and there is at least a month's wait for parts (all of them) which says to me that they are probably not available at all. I looked at the company website and they don't even list this model. Do I have to give up on this great little machine? And if so... What is a suitable (economicable) replacement with a heater?
