Best Reasonably Priced Washer/Dryer

I'm trying to decide on a electric washer/dryer set. I have decided I want a top load, but not sure what brand to go with. I was thinking Kenmore Elite but after reading all the bad reviews I'm not sure. I would like to keep it under $1500 for the set. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yes. Give Speed Queen a look. Last of the traditional belt drive agitator washers with outstanding warranties.
Bought the washer in march and the dryer in may and am very satisfied. If you go with Speed Queen I highly doubt you will be disappointed.
