How would you tackle this stain?

| My DD has a jacket that needed washing. The jacket is white with black fabric inserts and black zippers and pulls. I do not know the fabric content because I can't find a content tag ANYWHERE but I am guessing it to be polyester with a fleece lining. Of course there isn't a fabric care label anywhere on the jacket either.
She had gotten a ground-in dirt stain on the elbow so I sprayed it with Oxyclean, along with some other small smudges on the jacket. After washing, the Oxyclean really faded the elbow stain, but there were new blackish stains in a few spots around the zipper. It seemed to be that the Oxyclean caused the black plastic zipper pulls to bleed onto the fabric.
Did not put jacket in dryer.
Sprayed again with Oxyclean and washed. No different.
"Painted" bleach onto the stains with a Q-tip. The original elbow stain completely disappeared but the mystery blackish stains just faded very slightly, turning that purply-grey that black does from bleach.
What can I try next?
Should I try the bleach again, and just let it sit longer before I wash it? Would that eat a hole in the fabric? The jacket is still usable so I don't want to make it worse!
Oh great Laundry gurus, please give me guidance!

Try soaking and then washing with Persil Universal Powder detergent. A friend of mine had a dressing gown that for years she wore in the morning while drinking tea (and usually spilling some on her) and doing her makeup (also getting makeup on the gown). This thing had probably been washed 50x...and the light tea and makeup stains were very there!! I told her to soak and then wash with Persil Universal Powder....and all stains came out. Even ones that had been there for years. Good luck, and let us know!! :)

I also agree with pataan. Liquid shout is pretty darn great. I usually have a bottle on hand, if my trusty Persil does not kill the stain the first time!!

Thank you all for your advice. My grocery store did not have Persil so I tried the Shout Gel. Twice. No luck. I think I have some Simple Green around here somewhere, so I'll give that a try, and I'll check other stores for Persil. Other than that, I'm stuck with the stain. I just wish I knew what it IS, as it didn't show up until I laundered it. Oh well... Thank you again! Nicole

I would buy a set of Miele's and they will get any stain out. Good luck.

For color bleeding issues... Soak in cold water. Wash in cold cycle with regular detergent. Then soak in a diluted color safe bleach cold water solution, overnight, like oxyclean. Then wash in cold again with detergent and oxyclean in the wash. You may need to do the cold detergent wash up to five times. This has worked for me.
