We just ordered the Electrolux 70 series W/D. It was time to recplace our other machines, and decided this would be a great 40th birthday present for me:-) I have 5 kids and do about 4 loads of laundry a day.

We spent $2400 for the set...then there will be a $200 rebate, so $2200 total (includes delivery, new hoses, and tax). We bought from a local dealer, not a big box store.

Thank you! That is one set I looked at because the doors are reversible which makes sense for stacking the pieces (in a corner no less).

I cannot recommend the Electrolux Wave Touch 70 Series washer and Electric dryer enough. Amazing, amazing units. Soooo happy. Beyond happy (and that does not happen very often, LOL) :-)

We've had the 70 series dryer stacked on top of the 60 series washer since August. While I'm happy with the stacked arrangement, if I had to do it over again I might not, because as others have pointed out, stacking will increase the cost of any repairs down the line.

I do encourage our particular 60/70 combination. The 70 series dryer adds the Perfect Tumble (reverse tumble) feature, which I consider invaluable (and so do many other posters). However, there's nothing in the 70 series washer that I consider worth the extra expense, and the IQ Touch is much easier to operate than the Wave Touch.

Thanks! We decided on the 60 series for both - the control panel was a factor / and as much as I would love the reverse tumble feature I will not miss it,
having never had it. Since they will be stacked the wave touch up at the top will be too hard to use for me. Got both pieces for $1900 including delivery and take away and set up / happy w/ the price!
