I'm looking for a compact washer. I'd like to know which model should I be looking for?

Are you looking to buy new or used?

Do you live in the US? Canada? Somewhere else?

Have you looked at Miele's website? There you can find the new models currently available for sale new.

Used, in US.

Try searching the archives for those model numbers. They've been discussed numerous times on here.

Not sure anybody's talking much about them anymore, tho, since the new models came out.

New models are all 110V, and that sucks!

You want the Little Giant Set.

Yes, Little Giant is pretty good, but the price is $3800. Too expensive!

I've had my 1918 for just over 10 years and still love it. It needed its first service call last month - the brushes wore out and the 3 way valve was getting tired (slow fill on prewash). Hopefully I can settle in for the next 10 trouble free years. If I had to do it over - same one for sure. I've never had a capacity issue, even with King size bedding, but I don't wash synthetic comforters, which I think are hard to fit in. Good luck!
