Fisher & Paykel washing machine

Hello,
This morning I loaded up my EcoSmart washer and pressed the start button.......nothing happened! The washer won't turn on. Dead. I unplugged the washer, checked all the circuit breakers, plugged the washer back in and pressed the start button again....nothing.
Can someone tell me what could possibly be wrong? My dryer, which is right next to the washer, works fine.
Thank you.

RE: Fisher & Paykel washing machine

What specific model is your machine?  GWL10, GWL11, GWL15, WA37T26, WA42T26?

The most common cause of a dead machine is a leaking pump zapping the controller board.  Doesn't have to be water flooding on the floor.  A slight leak just enough to get the pump wet and keep it wet over a period of time will corrode the motor windings and cause the trouble.  There can be other sources of a dead machine, only way to know for sure is investigate.  Examination of the pump is the first step.
