A wash plate is used for top loaders (there is no "tumble action").

Of the three you pointed out (front loaders), I'd go with Whirlpool.
I hear longer repair times waiting for parts with LG and Samsung and their customer service isn't all that great.

Bosch does not offer full size front loaders anymore, which is what the OP is looking for...

Have you looked at Electrolux?

Oh...yes! (like hvtech42 pointed out).

Electrolux is another serious contender you should consider for full sized large capacity front load washer & dryer.

I would buy either Whirlpool or Electrolux (Electrolux being my first choice).
