Whirlpool Duet Dryer problem~~need help please

I have had my Duet dryer for 2 years without any problems until today. I pressed the power button and it turned on (green), then I pressed the START button (held for a few seconds)and I can hear a click, the start buttom lights up but it will not start running. The timer will count down if I watch it for a few minutes but it will not start. I have checked my breaker box, unplugged and replugged the dryer, opened and shut the door to be sure it was closed properly, tried different settings, etc and no luck. It was working 2 days ago and now this.I feel like it is a problem in the electric starter...
Has this happened to anyone?? If so, what did you do to correct the problem ? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm. My Duet dryer is almost six years old. That clicking sound is something electrical. From all the reading I have done usually what goes out in a Duet dryer is the thermistor....But I'm not sure if that causes the dryer to actually not start or just not heat. I would do post a question on this forum
