Bosch 500 Nexxt Washer makes whining noise

Have had this washer (and dryer) since 2008, and it just starting making a whine only when it is in the rinse and wash cycle and ONLY when it rotates counterclockwise. Never when it rotates clockwise. When it is the ultra high RPM spin cycle, no whine.

Any thoughts or recommendations?
