Hi!

Does anyone know what this rectangular opening in the back of my just-delivered Miele T8003 dryer is?? It is supposed to be there?? The attached picture is looking at the lower left corner of the back of the dryer.

Neither the operating instructions nor installation instructions mention it, or show it their diagrams.

Anyone know what the hole is?
Shouldn't it be covered?
If not, why not?
If so, where has my cover gone?

If the last question sounds a little paranoid, itâÂÂs because IâÂÂm trying to be! The appliance storeâÂÂs delivery guys took off with our washerâÂÂs âÂÂshipping struts,â even though Miele actually provides straps to store them on the back of the machine. So I'm actually anxious to find out if this is another part that is missing due to careless delivery guys.
