Age of Whirlpool washer

| Can anyone tell me how to determine the age of a Whirlpool washer. My washing machine was repalced, adn I think they are using the wrong date to determine it's age. I know the serial number should provide a clue to the manhufacture date if I knew the clues. |

| That's a Calypso, in white. :-) Manufactured in Clyde, Ohio. 4th week of 2003. Mine are 10th and 41st week of 2001. |

| Thanks. The difference may be worth about $300 to me. By the way, I have that one pump but have not taken out the other one. If you are interested, I need to do it tonight. They are supposed to deliver tomorrow. I say supposed to because a dryer vent is holding things up. We're not off to a good start. :( |

| Yes, I sent a reply. Let me get back to you in a bit. I just had to cancel that order and am going to purchase elsewhere and save some moeny as long as I have to wait until Sunday for delivery. I have a few days to wrestle that monster --- I'll email you tonight or in the morning. |
