I have a GE dryer Model DBVH512 (this was the accompanying dryer to the "new" GE front loaders in 2005-2006.)

I have not had any problems at all with the dryer until recently. Three times, an item of clothing has been caught between the drum and the housing at the 12:00 position. I was able to gently extract the clothing, which was twisted and distorted at the point of the clothing that was caught, with a small grease mark. In no instance was the dryer "stuffed" or overloaded. Does anybody have a clue as to what is wrong? Fortunately, none of the pieces of clothing were "critical" (t-shirt, boxers, and a pair of children's shorts), but, of course, I don't want anything nice to be ruined. I hope this is not the beginning of the end. :)
