Depth of Pedestal vs Washer.. Please Help!

Hello all,

I have been reading on here ever since I needed a new washer and dryer, and after weeks of uncertainty I finally just pressed the Checkout button on Sears Samsung WF448AA (any experience with this anyone?!)

My concern is the DEPTH measurements. The washer is almost 32" BUT the pedestal is listed as only 28" how can this be? My space can support max 30" depth but the sales people told me since pedestal is less in depth it will be OK so I placed order and now am freaking out.. what if they dont fit! Please help!

It's because the washer door sticks out farther than the body of the washer and pedestal. Also you can't push the washer directly up against the wall, you will need some clearance for the hoses. Sounds like you might not have enough room!
