Ok, I solved my own problem, but for others experiencing the same issue, here is the solution. If you extend the dispenser tray all the way out, you can see a tab on the left with the word, "push". You have to get down almost to eye level to see it. Push this down - only a little pressure is needed, and pull the entire dispenser tray out. The plastic piece then just drops into place and you can push the entire dispenser assembly back into place. The drawer slides in easily so if it seems hard take a look and make sure you have lined the sides up properly.
