Sure could use some help my friends washer will not respond in any way after a power surge during a storm. I used one of those light and buzzer circuit testers on the cord and it indicates power. We opened the console and saw no burnt spots or oders. Is there a fuse somewhere? Any suggestions to try befor he calls for service? Thanks in advance for any help, David

There may be a fuse on the controller board, but it's not designed/intended to be a replaceable component. (That is not to say you couldn't try doing so if you could determine what kind of fuse ... but it may not fix the problem if something else on the board also is blown.) Most likely the board will need to be replaced.

The machine should be on a surge surpressor if it's not already.
